New beginnings.....

Hello all! It's a new year, and I've been struck by a new flash of inspiration. I'd like to start by saying, "It's about DANG time!" I have gone w/out drawing for about 2 1/2 years. Awful huh? What's even worse is that I've finaly started drawing again and can't share my work with anyone online! :( *Tear* I wonder if I can take my art to Kinko's or something and have them scan it onto a CD. If I can do that, I can just download my work from the disk onto deviantart, or onto my blog. That would be spiffy. My luck usually doesn't permit things to go my way like that though. I guess all I can do is check into it. Wish me luck! ;p
OH! This drawing to the left is one of my older drawings, but it's a good example of my work. If you're interested in looking at some of my older drawings, by all means visit my DeviantArt Page. My good friend IonHelen helped me with some anatomy on many of my earlier pieces. He has plenty of eye candy on his site as well. ^_^

It's over....... :(

Well, Christmas is over. I'm happy because everyone loved their gifts, and had a good time. I'm sad because I had to come back to work today. Don't get me wrong, I really like my job. Actually, it's one of the best jobs I've had. It's really laid back. I just didn't want to wake up this morning. :( *Yawn* I got used to sleeping in and staying up late. I started drawing again over my Christmas break as well. :) I have to go to Hobby Lobby this afternoon for some coloring pencil blenders. I think my first drawing in FOREVER turned out pretty well. It sux though cause I can't post it on the internet and get constructive criticism like I used to. I don't have a scanner at my disposal. Oh well, say la vie.

Christmas is almost here!

Wow! Christmas is so close I can taste it. This has to be one of my favorite times of the year, along with Halloween and my birthday. I can't wait until Christmas day. I love to watch my family and friends open the gifts I picked out for them. Actually, that's my favorite thing about Christmas. My family isn't the most functional of families, but we love each other, and I love to buy for them! I'm so happy I was smart enough to shop for them before the Christmas rush. I can't stand shopping in overly crowded malls. And thank you God for ebay! Of course I like to receive as well as give, just like everyone else. They say that Christmas is about giving and not receiving, but I beg to differ. When you give, someone's receiving. That's just the way it is. You can't have one without the other. Well, I'm done with my Christmas rant. Hope you enjoyed it, and have a Merry Honz-a-Kwan-a-Mas!
